Escada Jorge Selarón
A work achieved by persistence and dream of an artist. The stairs of the convent of Santa Teresa was degraded when Jorge Selarón decided to give it life. With 215 steps, contains more than 2000 tiles proveninetes from 82 countries. Jorge Selarón lived near the stairs and decided to restore it, stopping only when he had no financial resources to purchase the necessary materials. In these periods, the artist painted pictures and sold to raise funds.
