Sean Kelly Gallery, founded by British-born Sean Kelly in 1991, operated privately in SoHo until 1995. During these formative years, it established a reputation for diverse, intellectually driven, unconventional exhibitions. The original list of artists represented included Marina Abramović, Joseph Kosuth and Julião Sarmento, who exemplify the Gallery’s commitment to exhibiting important, challenging contemporary art.
The Gallery also participates in five major international art fairs each year; Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, ART HK, EXPO Chicago and The Armory Show, New York.

Pace Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery representing many of the most significant international artists and estates of the 20th and 21st centuries. Founded by Arne Glimcher in Boston in 1960 and led by Marc Glimcher, Pace has been a constant, vital force in the art world and has introduced many renowned artists’ work to the public for the first time. Over the past five decades, the gallery has mounted more than 700 exhibitions, including scholarly shows that have subsequently travelled to museums, and has published nearly 400 exhibition catalogues. Today Pace has seven locations worldwide: four in New York, two in London and a gallery in Beijing.

 For over thirty years, the Marian Goodman Gallery has played an important role in introducing European artists to American audiences and helping to establish a vital dialogue among artists and institutions working internationally. The Marian Goodman Gallery was founded in New York City in late 1977 and opened an exhibition space in Paris in 1995.

 

Mary Boone Gallery was founded in New York in 1977. The first Gallery was a small ground floor space at the renowned Soho address 420 West Broadway. From the outset, the Gallery was committed to showing the work of innovative young artists.

In addition to artists long-associated with the Gallery – Ross Bleckner, Francesco Clemente, Eric Fischl, Barbara Kruger, David Salle – the gallery now represents established artists such as Barry Le Va and Keith Sonnier alongside intriguing new artists like Pierre Bismuth, Patty Chang, Chie Fueki, Luis Gispert, Hilary Harkness, Jacob Hashimoto, and Aleksandra Mir. Mary Boone Gallery is actively involved in the secondary market of artists important to its history, including Jean Michel Basquiat, Jeff Koons, Brice Marden, and Julian Schnabel.

Representing forty-three artists and estates, David Zwirner is a contemporary art gallery active in both the primary and secondary markets. Since opening its doors in 1993, it has been home to innovative, singular, and pioneering exhibitions across a variety of media and genres. The gallery has helped foster the careers of some of the most influential artists working today, including Luc Tuymans and Neo Rauch, who had their U.S. debut exhibitions at the gallery (in 1994 and 2000, respectively), and has maintained long-term representation of a wide-ranging, international group of artists. During the 1990s, the gallery began representing Michaël Borremans, Raoul De Keyser, Stan Douglas, Marcel Dzama, On Kawara, Toba Khedoori, Jockum Nordström, Raymond Pettibon, Thomas Ruff, Katy Schimert, Yutaka Sone, Diana Thater, and Christopher Williams.David Zwirner also maintains a complete publishing program, partnering with Steidl, Radius Books, Ludion, Rizzoli, Abrams, Aperture, and others, to produce exhibition catalogues, monographs, and artist’s books.
