The impressive Hotel Andre Latin was redesigned by Michael Malapert and it is located right in the heart of Paris, in the 5th arrondissement, close to the Luxembourg Gardens and the Pantheon. After a few months of restoration, André Latin Hotel reopens its doors and reveals its new and incredible design, inspired by the ‘belle époque’, in honor of André Sodano, the founder of the hotel and the grandfather of the current owners, Fabien and Guillaume Sodano.
Andrea Sodano was born in Italy. In1890 he arrived in Paris at the age of 18. The hotel belongs to the family only since 1989 and this date is now going to be paired with the name of the hotel. The Sodano brothers have thought to create the interiors of Hotel André Latin inspired by their grandfather’s taste and personality with the help of the Parisian interior designer Michael Malapert.
The hotel has 68 rooms and it has a style inspired by the belle époque era, but with contemporary elements subtly blend, which have gained a new look after some months of extensive renovation that can be perfectly confused with a 19th century room. The decoration of the rooms are furnished with mid-century furniture, Gubi and DelightFULL‘s lighting designs.
The bathrooms were designed thinking on the classic Parisian interior using white tiles. The hotel interior decoration is fulfilled with magnificent details which help to create a sense of authenticity including floors of wooden planks texture, brass lamps, upholstered furniture in wool Kvadrat fabrics, and marble tables.
The Hotel Andre Latin it’s an impressive building and along with that it provides guests with an amazing, luxury and unforgettable experiences. It’s a very interesting place to enjoy the city of Paris and the opportunity to live in a 19th century scenario for some days.
