At iSaloni 2017, Kartell is showcasing its new ContamiNation collection and it will be exhibiting a whole new set of exquisite design pieces, ranging from furniture to lighting, during the entire week in various locations throughout Milan. In this article, Best Design Guides will provide the most accurate information regarding the events promoted by the coveted luxury brand.
In the meantime, Kartell has transformed its Milanese flagship boutique into a spatial tribute to Componibili. To celebrate 50 years of Componibili, Kartell is holding a special exhibition event dubbed “The design towers” that looks back at the fascinating history of this well-loved product created by Anna Castelli Ferrieri which, right from the outset, has been one of the brand’s best and longest selling products.

At the heart of the exhibition, Kartell is featuring 15 signature pieces as a special tribute that takes a personal look at the iconic object, which were created in close collaboration with Ron Arad, Mario Bellini, Antonio Citterio, Ferruccio Laviani, Piero Lissoni, Alberto Meda, Alessandro Mendini, Nendo, Fabio Novembre, Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola, Tokujin Yoshioka and brands like Emilio Pucci and Missoni, as well as a Disney special edition.

Department store La Rinascente is celebrating Componibili’s 50th birthday with a special display in its
Design Supermarket.
On the footwear floor, visitors will find the pop-up store with collections created through the partnership
between Kartell, Paula Cademartori and N°21.

Giga Attila and Kartell Kids at the 10th edition of the Triennale Design Museum
Kartell and Triennale Design Museum continue their mission of promoting the design culture. On the occasion of the tenth edition of the Triennale Design Museum, Kartell has created a special edition of one of its icons:
Philippe Starck’s Attila in an extra-large version measuring an 180 cm tall. So, Kartell has Giga Attila,
who welcomes visitors to Giro Giro Tondo. Design for Children. The new museum will also host some historic pieces from Kartell Museo as well as more recent items from the Kartell Kids line, like the H-Horse rocking horse and the Smile stools designed by Nendo.

Kartell celebrates 20 years of the SaloneSatellite
Kartell is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the SaloneSatellite with a special Candy Candle lamp
created by Patrick Jouin on display at the “Collezione SaloneSatellite 20 Anni”, a special edition of
pieces created for the occasion by a selection of international designers who launched their careers
at the SaloneSatellite.

Guided tour at Kartell Museo Saturday 8 April 2017
Kartell Museo invites everyone on a guided tour during Milan’s Design Week, featuring Kartell’s most fascinating
products created from the 1950s all the way to the latest innovative creations by the world’s top designers. The tour is free and by reservation only.
Saturday 8 April: shuttle service from the Kartell Flagship Store at Via Carlo Porta 1 (on the corner with Via Turati) at 2:30 PM, by reservation.
