I will not believe it if you tell me that you never dream being in Miami, USA. This is the place where everyone, young or not, want to be: spectacular beaches, funny activities, sexy people, delicious cocktails, good music and the hottest nights.

Is in summer times that the city has its biggest flood of people, but the New Years Eve periods are as good as well for the city. So if you’re thinking to visit Miami, Florida, I am able to help you find the best places (in my opinion) to go and have fun.

Let’s begin with the more important: hotels & resorts:
The Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove (3300 Southwest Twenty-seventh Avenue Coconut Grove, Florida 33133) has also an SPA.  The hotel is really beautiful and has a classic and elegant décor.
Hotel Beaux Arts Miami (255 Biscayne Boulevard Way)– Luxurious is the word. Golf court, jacuzzi, sauna, beauty salon and a fitness center. This is the perfect spot for you to spoil yourself.
The Mayfair Hotel and Spa at 3000 Florida Avenue has an incredible view to the sunset as well as the best facilities and residence conditions. You should try it.

But there’s more you can’t lose:
Like the Upper Eastside Farmers Market at 66th Street and Biscayne Boulevard Legion Park (Saturday’s).
Versace Mansion was the home of Gianni Versace the famous fashion designer that was murdered outside this mansion.

South Beach and Sunny Isles and the Golden Beach are the best beaches in Miami. You can’t miss these exotic places.
Scuba Dive is THE mandatory activity of Miami visitors.  Swimming with the fishes is undoubtedly an amazing experience, believe it. You can find more information in companies like South Beach Divers (southbeachdivers.com) and Dive Miami (www.divemiami.com), among others.

Atrium, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and The Webster are the shop spots that you’ll love. There you will found excellent fashion items, and so much more. Plus: you will certainly found some Hollywood celebrity at one of these places.

Related to food and nightlife, there are some places that I want to refer:
The first is Toro Toro that offers a twist on the contemporary steakhouse experience and some creative sharing plates. You can find it at 100 Chopin Plaza.

The Abbey (1115 16th Street) known as “Miami Beach’s oldest & only brew-pub.”
Abraxas Lounge at 407 Meridian Ave.
A La Folie.You’ll find this café at 516 Espanola Way and 1701 Sunset Harbor Dr # 102 (Purdy Ave.)
The Forge is a restaurant and wine bar with a very good reputation – 432 Forty First Street.

But Miami isn’t only a city of fun. You should visit some museums as well. These are the places that I recommend: Bass Museum of Art, MAM – Miami Art Museum, World Erotic Art Museum and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.

If you are a curious person and love the Hollywood famous, maybe you should try to find the lovely houses that stars like Will Smith and the Spanish Julio Iglesias have in Miami.

And if you’re thinking to visit Miami during the New Years Eve period, here are some suggestions for a good start: Pitbull at AmericanAirlines Arena and Calvin Harris at LIV.
