Lexington – City Guide

Lexington (officially Lexington-Fayette Urban County) is the second-largest city in Kentucky and the 63rd largest in the US. Known as the “Thoroughbred City” and the “Horse Capital of the World”, it is located in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region . Lexington, NC is a community that is relaxed, friendly and affordable; a community with a genuine small town character and quality of life but still easily accessible to the nearby metropolitan areas of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Charlotte. Lexington offers an attraction to those who wish to live within a short drive of major urban areas without some of the day to day traffic problems and higher costs associated with living in a bigger city. Uptown Lexington is a vibrant, attractive central business district with a unique variety of shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
