In October 2007, launched SweetDreamsMattress.com in order to provide customers with the convenience of shopping online for their mattress and/or for accessorial items to compliment their bedding needs.
CITY LIGHTS ART GALLERY
City Lights Artists’ Co-op is a Nevada nonprofit corporation.
More specifically to:
To financially assist art education for children and seniors at community centers.
To produce several art shows during the year to generate funding for art education.
To maintain an art gallery for members to show and sell their work and for students to learn how to professionally present their work.
To provide art classes for student of all levels of art experience.
To provide scholarships to qualified graduating high school students needing financial assistance, toward a higher education in a 4 year or 2 year college.
ELAYNE LAPORTA, FINE ARTS
Known for her detailed folk paintings and limited edition prints, Elayne LaPorta’s palette is filled with colors inspired by dramatic themes from the Bible. LaPorta has found her niche translating spiritual scenes onto oils and prints. Using a unique American folk concept she calls, “Naïveté,” LaPorta has developed a unique relationship to biblical art and artistic expression.

MUSEUMS
The CLARK COUNTY MUSEUM
The Clark County Museum is a function of Clark County Parks and Recreation, which is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies. The museum is a 30-acre site that features a modern exhibit hall with a timeline exhibit about southern Nevada from pre-historic to modern times and a collection of restored historic buildings that depict daily life from different decades in Las Vegas, Boulder City, Henderson and Goldfield.
NEVADA VINTAGE RACE CAR MUSEUM
This museum and browse 16 vintage race cars that are on display, including two “Indy Racing League” cars, as well as numerous World War II model planes. Upon entering the exhibit, you will also find a restored C-119 “Flying Boxcar.
SHOWROOMS
ARTBEAR PRESENTED BY TARGET.
The concerts or performances take place nearly every Friday of the month and feature artists covering an array of musical genres from country, to rhythm and blues, to rock and roll. Headliners have included world-renown pianist Alpin Hong, America’s Got Talent winner Michael Grimm, country artist Craig Campbell, original member of The Monkees, Peter Tork and many more. Enjoy pre-show activities including art displays, crafts and demonstrations.
HENDERSON PAVILION
At the Henderson Pavilion, the largest outdoor theatre in Nevada. The state-of-the-art venue has hosted a variety of performances, including Celtic Woman, Pink Martini, Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, Benise, Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker, High School Musical: A Summer Celebration, The Wizard of Oz and more. Several performing arts events are scheduled during the spring and fall season.
COUNTRY CLUB LIVING
DragonRidge Country Club was designed by Jay Morrish and David Druzisky to incorporate the natural beauty of the rolling desert foothills, sweeping elevation changes, natural canyons, and preserved rock formations. The residents and golfers of this community capitalize on the panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and the Valley below as they enjoy the wide fairways and large greens. HENDERSON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
The musical ensemble makes a variety of appearances at the Henderson Pavilion, Henderson Events Plaza and Henderson Convention Center throughout the year, offering both afternoon and evening performances.
MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE
Each spring, children from around the Las Vegas Valley have the opportunity to showcase their talents, performing in a version of a classic fairytale or popular children’s stage production as part of the annual Missoula Children’s Theatre program. The City of Henderson has partnered with the organization for more than 20 years, providing an educational and performing arts opportunity for local school children. Kids, Kindergarten – 12th grade, are able to audition for roles in the designated play for the year. Past performances have included King Arthur’s Quest, Robinson Crusoe and The Little Mermaid
