PROJECT CULTURE
Founded By Covet Foundation, Project Culture is an awe-inspiring initiative and the material concretization of a dream that belongs to every single person who celebrates the finest craftsmanship all around the world.
Maison Et Objet was the perfect opportunity for visitors to discover the type of work that the foundation launches within Culture.
The CULTURE Creative Hub is assembling its first steps towards a brighter future for the craftsmanship world and the experimental handcrafted works of art taking shape in the artistic atelier are only the beginning.
CÉCILE GEIGER
Manipulating steel, folding, cutting, welding, then polishing it until it shines or transforming the surfaces through rust or black hematite patinas, her sculptures reflect and respond to that nature. Her work is inspired by the nature that surrounds her: rocks, branches, layers, vegetation, landscapes.
VALERIE COLAS DES FRANCS
This brand brings back to the contemporary trends and luxury design the colourful straw marquetry, giving items for daily use a special twist. Breaking the boundaries of classic marquetry, Valerie is dedicated to straw, a simple, adaptable and natural material that can be rustic and modern at the same time.
