Bulgari Resort was designed in a sophisticated and contemporary way to be the meeting point for traditional Balinese forms and high Italian style. The Resort was designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, a renown Italian architectural and design studio, and it represents the culture and natural elements of the location.
The Resort was designed and furnished with products made from the best quality materials including hand-cut volcanic stones, rich exotic woods from the local forests and sumptuous fabrics. In addition, palimanan stone and natural lava were used to built the garden and interior walls, bangkiray wood to construct the villas, as well as quartzite-green stone,or Sukabumi, to coat the outdoor showers, plunge, and swimming pools.
Bulgari Resort’s interior design counts with an admirable collection of Balinese antiques and exotic art pieces which decorate all spaces of the Resort, ranging from furniture to decorative accessories including stemware, flatware, ceramics and woven fabrics, all designed and manufactured in Bali by the local artisans in cooperation with the designers of the project.
