Discover The Impressive Lighting Trends at Euroluce 2017

Euroluce 2017 is the International Lighting Exhibition which runs concurrently with the prestigious Salone del Mobile.Milano that will take place between 4th and 9th April 2017, in Milan. At its 29th edition, Euroluce will count with the participation of the Venetian-based Studio Italia Design which will feature some outstanding lighting fixtures, as it always does since its foundation in 1950.

Sugegasa is an exquisite and elegant lamp inspired by the Asian conical hat, commonly known as an Asian rice hat, or farmer’s hat. This elegant lighting fixture will provide you the most radiant and lustrous setting.

“Back in Italy I looked for that hat: the Sugegasa. A headgear of the Southeast Asian farmers who work the land. That’s why I wanted it as bright as the sun, with a thousand refractions, at night as well,” said the designer Andrea Tosetto.

The thin wires that support the light combine perfectly with the resistant material of the balls, inside which incorporate the efficient LED light and its transparency makes a magic atmosphere that may be enhanced by various chromes.

Random not only interprets the randomness of an event in a summer day expresses in its light heartedness, but also the joy that is intended to be transmitted to people, providing them the most exquisite lamps to allow them to create their own compositions in an easy and fast way thanks to its modularity, which makes it the ideal lamp for illuminating and characterize important spaces.

This lighting piece was designed to reflect the desire of expressing a continuous technological improvement applied to the lighting, which is the pure essence of Studio Italia Design, and translated into this lamp highly versatile and functional. The spherical shape of the diffuser, an eclectic diffuser, which is divided into two highly independent disks adjustable horizontally, as you prefer.

The light source can be concentrated through the union of the two lenses that allow you to direct the light upwards and downwards and once divided it is able to create points of light in two different positions, ensuring the efficiency of a bright light and glare.
