The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi introduced a smartphone created by the French designer Philippe Starck, the MI MIX. It has the distinction of being equipped with a 6.4 inch display that fills almost the entire surface of the device, covering 91.3% of the front of the device.

It is a revolutionary smartphone that combines a stylish design with a cutting-edge technology, perfoming perhaps the most beatiful smartphone in the world, which is entirely made of ceramic. Thanks to the piezoelectric ceramic technology, the sound is conveyed through vibrations, that is one of the insteresting features of this smartphone.

“Ceramic is a very, very, very old material, but it is also widely used and modern because it’s very durable and warm,” explained Philippe Starck in a smartphone’s video presentation.

Philippe Starck has enjoyed to perform this project and he plans to continue designing smartphones and providing people with luxury, modern and elegant designs. “Designing smartphones is a new creative experience for me. It’s a beginning. To create today the smartphone of the future”, said Philippe Starck.

Besides, of course, its extreme beauty and and the innovative design, this smartphone features a 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, along with both 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.0 storage, a massive 4,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, a fingerprint reader, NFC, HD audio playback, a 16-megapixel main camera and a tiny custom-made 5-megapixel front camera. The Mi MIX also supports LTE Cat 11 with download speeds of up to 600Mbps using tri-carrier aggregation.
