| Camilla Webb Carter takes her inspiration from geometry, optical illusion and different kinds of patterns. Whilst developing and working with these ideas she found a unique way in which to express her interests through ceramics. Camilla Webb Carter Ceramics started designing and producing geometric and architectural wall installations in 2011.These installations produce a tactile environment with a structured sense of movement and illusion. The installations are arranged so that they catch light and shadow adding to the overall look and feel.
The maximum impact of the wall pieces is when placed as a feature wall, as an added interior decoration in place of a painting or to adorn a feature within a space . As the pieces are modular they can be installed at random or in a block format, there is no rule of what arrangement the wall installations will have. |
