Designed by Oscar Niemeyer, the cathedral was completed in 1960 and is a building of unique design. But it is not just the building that fascinates visitors, also the four statues of 3 meters on the outside and representing the evangelists or the statues of angels inside the cathedral as well as the paintings on the walls are admired by those who visit .
